Also known as wandering Jew. To be honest, this one isn't thriving so far. It has managed to put out one new leaf so far (since the photo).

A plant that earns its keep by its healing and pain-relieving properties for minor burns. We have another one in this house but it didn't get enough light and is in very poor health. Let's hope this specimen fares better.

My identification is tentative but I think those are distinct stripes on the undersides of the leaves. It's a cutie!
